From original part to series part – in six steps.
Every step has a clear result. After cost engineering you decide – with full cost transparency – whether and how we proceed.
Inquiry & feasibility
You describe the part and your demand. We check whether and how it can be remanufactured.
Your input
- Photos, part number, installation position
- Required quantity
- Original part or sample, if available
Our work
- Review of documents
- Initial technical assessment
- Clarification of open questions
Result
- Feasibility assessment
- Quote for the analysis
Analysis
We capture the part completely – as the basis for calculation and engineering.
Your input
- Original part or sample
- Any existing documentation
Our work
- 3D digitisation and measurement
- Material identification
- Function and wear analysis
Result
- Complete part data
- Requirements profile
Cost engineering
Before any design work starts, you know what the part will cost. We compare processes and batch sizes and show you the most economical route.
Your input
- Demand quantities and call-off rhythm
- Required delivery time
Our work
- Manufacturing cost calculation
- Process and batch size comparison
- Comparison of remanufacturing, refurbishment, stocking
Result
- Calculation with price scales
- Binding quote
- Your go / no-go decision
Engineering
Our engineering team creates a design for manufacturing and cost. Deviations from the original only with your approval.
Your input
- Agreement on any changes or optimisations
Our work
- 3D CAD model
- 2D manufacturing drawings
- Design to cost, elimination of weak points
Result
- 3D data set
- Drawing set for approval
First article & approval
The first article is manufactured, inspected and fitted in the vehicle or on a test rig.
Your input
- Fitting test or provision of the installation situation
- Approval
Our work
- First article production
- Dimensional inspection
- Documentation
Result
- First article with measurement report
- Release for series production
Series & supply
We manufacture in the quantity required and, on request, secure supply for the future.
Your input
- Order or call-offs
Our work
- Series production and inspection
- Delivery
- Stocking as agreed
Result
- Ready-to-install series parts
- Secured follow-up supply
Good to know.
What do you need for an initial assessment?
Photos of the part, the part number or original manufacturer's designation, vehicle and installation position, and the required quantity. Existing drawings or an original part speed up the process.
When will I know the costs?
After the analysis. In the cost engineering step you receive a calculation for engineering, first article and series part – before engineering begins. Only then do you decide whether to proceed.
Do I just get drawings, or the finished part too?
Both. Our standard is end-to-end delivery up to the ready-to-install part. If you only need the drawing set, that's possible too.
From what quantity does remanufacturing pay off?
That depends on the part, the manufacturing process and the cost of a failure. This is exactly what we evaluate in cost engineering – including a comparison with refurbishment or stocking.
Will the part be changed?
Only with your approval. Function and installation dimensions match the original. We propose improvements to material, wear or manufacturability and implement them once agreed.
Do you work outside Germany?
Yes. We supply transit operators across Europe and communicate in German and English.
A part is no longer available?
Send us photos, part number and quantity – you'll receive an initial assessment within two working days.
